Brian C Gregg

I am a retired corporate finance lawyer. Since retiring, I have satisfied my passion for writing by freelancing where I have ghostwritten or edited more than 350 articles, dissertations, and blogs.  Most of my work has been ghostwritten for websites of law firms, doctors, and dental offices.


My articles have covered legal, business, taxation, finance, health and medicine, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, product liability, and other technical subjects.  Samples are attached.

Editing and Writing Skills

Writing Skills:  In addition to college and law school, I have 50 years of intensive writing and editing experience. This includes numerous research memoranda.

Editing and Proofreading:  In the course of my long professional career, I have many years of experience editing and proofreading the work of others.

SEO and HTML Experience.  For the past 4 years, I have been freelance writing, much of it in compliance with SEO best practices. I also have a working knowledge of HTML. My writing experience requires that I have a working knowledge of writing styles APA, MLA, AP, Chicago, and Harvard.

Professional Experience:

Four years on the staff of U.S. Treasury Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy (Washington DC)

Two years as adjunct professor of Advanced Corporate Tax at Southern Methodist University School of Law (Dallas, Texas)

Forty years in private law practice specializing in transactional, appellate, corporate finance, and tax law, (Dallas, Texas)

Four years to present in freelance writing and editing.
